Kuiper Guitars is the work of builder Tyler Johnson, whose passion for exceptional instruments was shaped by nearly a decade of repairing and servicing guitars. After years of working on countless instruments and gaining a deep understanding of what makes a guitar truly great, Tyler began building his own guitars in late 2022.

From his workshop in Bothell, Washington, Tyler handcrafts each Kuiper guitar one at a time with a strong commitment to craftsmanship, playability, and tone. Built with premium materials and meticulous attention to detail, every instrument is designed to inspire creativity and forge a lifelong connection between player and instrument.

Every Kuiper guitar begins with the wood. Rather than covering its natural character, each instrument is designed to showcase the beauty and individuality of the trees that gave them life.
